The one-of-a-kind pieces in this collection are ones that I created early in the spring of 2020, at the beginning of Covid-19. For years, I had been holding on to all kinds of chains, clasps, bracelets and other jewelry that I was going to, one day, dismantle and repurpose.
These were my "best of" rainy day pocket watch chains and swivel clips. My thick Figaro links and antique religious bracelets. These were the pieces that made my heart go pitter-pat, the ones I really wanted to work with but was too afraid that I wouldn't be able to do justice.
Nothing like a global pandemic to push a gal to dive deep into her treasure stash and start jewelin' like nobody's watchin'. This collection represents my way of working with the unknown, with fear, with grief, and recommitting to creativity and imagination as a way through the Dark.
In the pendant section, you'll find some of my very favorite charms and medallions handpicked from antique stores and flea markets over the last decade.
You'll quickly see that I've got a thing for the religious stuff. While I'm not religious in the traditional sense, I do pay attention to where we find connection and meaning. And how we create it.
So... you can start to build your bespoke talisman here. Go big and fancy, or keep it simple and sweet. My hope is that you're able to create a piece that speaks to who you are, to what you're inviting in at the moment and on the path ahead.
